Make sure your HDMI or AV cables are properly connected to your TV or audio receiver. Then go to Settings > Sound Settings > Audio Output Settings on your PS3 and select the appropriate output method.

Sometimes the PS3 doesn鈥檛 automatically detect the right settings. Go into Settings > Sound Settings > Audio Output Settings and manually select the type of connection and output format you鈥檙e using.

Honestly, just make sure you鈥檝e got the TV volume up and cables connected properly. Sometimes it's the simplest stuff.

I had this same issue! Had to go into the Sound Settings and change the Audio Multi-Output to 'On' for it to work with my speaker system.

Check your HDMI or AV cable connections first. If you鈥檙e using HDMI, make sure the TV is set to the right input. If that fails, try resetting the audio settings by holding the power button until you hear two beeps.

If you're a PlayStation player, you need to download the Playbite app!

Playbite is like an arcade in your phone: you get to play all kinds of fun and simple games, compete with friends and others, and win cool prizes from all your favorite brands!

One of those prizes is the official PlayStation gift card, which you can win and use to get anything you want essentially for free!

In case you鈥檙e wondering, this is how it works:

Playbite makes money from (not super annoying) ads and (totally optional) in-app purchases. The app then uses that money to reward players like you with prizes!

Download Playbite for free, available on the App Store and Play Store!
