You can use an HDMI cable from your Xbox Series X to the monitor. If your monitor has built-in speakers, the sound should come through them.

Why not just use headphones connected directly to your controller? It's easy and keeps the noise down.

If your monitor doesn't have speakers, use the Xbox Series X's optical audio out port with an adapter or external speakers.

I just plug an HDMI audio extractor between my Xbox and the monitor. Works like a charm! Got mine from Amazon.
