You can unlock special mushrooms in Super Mario Maker by using Mystery Mushrooms, which are only available in the Super Mario Bros. game style. Just pop them into your course from the Course Elements screen!

By playing through the 10 Mario Challenge and 100 Mario Challenge modes, you can sometimes earn special mushrooms as rewards. Happy hunting!

Honestly, just make sure you're playing in the Super Mario Bros. style and have fun with those Mystery Mushrooms. It's all about experimenting and enjoying the game!

I unlocked a bunch by completing the Event Courses. Try those out! They usually have some pretty cool special mushrooms.

...you need to download the Playbite app!

Playbite is like an arcade in your phone: you get to play all kinds of fun and simple games, compete with friends and others, and win cool prizes from all your favorite brands!

This includes gift cards from all your favorite brands, like Amazon, Starbucks, Apple, Roblox, and many, many more!

In case you're wondering, this is how it works:

Playbite makes money from (not super annoying ads) and (totally optional) in-app purchases. The app then uses that money to reward players like you with prizes!

Download Playbite for free, available on the App Store and Play Store!

The brands referenced on this page are not sponsors of the rewards or otherwise affiliated with this company.
