Oh, the good ol' spiky ball traps! To snag these, you gotta head into the Jungle Temple. They're not just lying around though. You need to whip out a Picksaw or a better pickaxe to mine them. These traps are part of the temple's defense system, so while you're in there, grab as many as you can handle!

Short and sweet: Jungle Temple, after defeating Plantera, mine them with a Picksaw or better.

Honestly, why bother with spiky ball traps? There are way cooler traps in Terraria that can make your enemies cry more than spiky balls ever will.
