To get a Star Cannon in Terraria, you gotta do some crafting! First, collect 20 Meteorite Bars by mining Meteorite, which falls randomly as large blocks after a meteorite event. You'll also need 5 Fallen Stars, which drop at night. Make sure you've got a good pickaxe for the mining! Then, head over to an Iron or Lead Anvil, and craft away. The Star Cannon is one of the highest damage-dealing weapons in the game, perfect for blasting bosses into the next dimension!

Star Cannon? Easy. Meteorite Bars + Fallen Stars at an Anvil. Boom, high damage!

Honestly, the effort to get a Star Cannon is so not worth it. There are better weapons out there that don't require ammo that literally falls from the sky at its own sweet will. Plus, gathering meteorite without getting mobbed by those space head thingies? Pass.
