How to Get the Stardust Dragon in Terraria
To summon the majestic Stardust Dragon in Terraria, you've gotta craft yourself a Stardust Dragon Staff. First step: defeat the Lunatic Cultist boss to trigger the Lunar Events. Then, battle your way through the Stardust Pillar event, one of the four celestial towers that appear. Once you've brought down the Stardust Pillar, it'll drop Stardust Fragments. Gather these up! You'll need 18 of them to craft the Stardust Dragon Staff at an Ancient Manipulator crafting station. If you've got all that sorted, congrats! You're now the proud summoner of a Stardust Dragon. Just keep in mind, summoning this celestial critter replaces any other minion you have out, but trust me, it's totally worth it.

Just go beat the Stardust Pillar and craft the staff. Easy peasy.
Seriously, everyone makes a big deal out of this but it's not that hard. Beat the Stardust Pillar, get the fragments, and make the staff. Sometimes you gotta do it a couple times to get enough fragments, but hey, that's Terraria for you.
