To get Steam on your Chromebook, first check if your device supports Linux apps. If it does, enable Linux (Beta) via your Chromebook's settings, then install Steam using the Linux terminal with these commands: 'sudo apt update' and 'sudo apt install steam'. Be mindful of your Chromebook's specs, as Steam games can be resource-intensive!

Just Linux it up! Enable that Linux beta on your Chromebook, grab yourself a terminal window and go 'sudo apt-get install steam'. Boom, welcome to Steam-ville, population: you.

Honestly, why bother? Most Chromebooks can't handle the heat of gaming. Better off with mobile games or a dedicated console.

Worked like a charm on my high-spec Chromebook. I enabled Linux, installed Steam, and now I dive into my game library during breaks. Trick is having a Chromebook that's beefy enough!

If you're a Steam player, you need to download the Playbite app!

Playbite is like an arcade in your phone: you get to play all kinds of fun and simple games, compete with friends and others, and win cool prizes from all your favorite brands!

One of those prizes is the official Steam gift card, which you can win and use to get anything you want essentially for free!

In case you鈥檙e wondering, this is how it works:

Playbite makes money from (not super annoying) ads and (totally optional) in-app purchases. The app then uses that money to reward players like you with prizes!

Download Playbite for free, available on the App Store and Play Store!
