Sorry to burst your bubble, but you can't actually run Steam directly on an Xbox One. Steam and Xbox operate on different platforms, and there's no official app or support that lets you access your Steam library from your Xbox console. But, you can stream your Steam games from your PC to your Xbox using the Xbox's Wireless Display app. You need a PC for the initial setup, though. It's not the direct solution you might've been hoping for, but it's a workaround to play Steam games on your Xbox.

Get Steam gift cards by playing games on Playbite

Directly getting Steam on Xbox One without a PC? No can do. They're like oil and water; they don't mix without a mediator (your PC).

You can't install Steam on an Xbox One directly, as they're different platforms. It's like trying to put a round peg in a square hole – they're just not compatible.

If you're a Steam player, you need to download the Playbite app!

Playbite is like an arcade in your phone: you get to play all kinds of fun and simple games, compete with friends and others, and win cool prizes from all your favorite brands!

One of those prizes is the official Steam gift card, which you can win and use to get anything you want essentially for free!

In case you’re wondering, this is how it works:

Playbite makes money from (not super annoying) ads and (totally optional) in-app purchases. The app then uses that money to reward players like you with prizes!

Download Playbite for free, available on the App Store and Play Store!

The brands referenced on this page are not sponsors of the rewards or otherwise affiliated with this company.
