Getting a Steam QR code is pretty straightforward! Just open your Steam app and head to the 'Account Details' section. From there, look for the 'Account Security' option where you'll find 'Manage Steam Guard.' Under Steam Guard, you should see a QR code which is used for Steam's Mobile Authenticator. Just scan that QR code with your mobile device, and you're all set to go!

Honestly, why bother? I've been using Steam for ages without ever needing to scan a QR code. Just enable Steam Guard from the settings and you're golden.

Totally disagree with needing to jump through hoops. Just use the desktop client or website, and everything's right there under 'Settings' > 'Account' > 'Manage Steam Guard Security.' No need for a magnifying glass to find it!

From personal experience, enabling Steam Guard and scanning the QR code made my account so much more secure. Totally recommend following the steps to get it!

If you're a Steam player, you need to download the Playbite app!

Playbite is like an arcade in your phone: you get to play all kinds of fun and simple games, compete with friends and others, and win cool prizes from all your favorite brands!

One of those prizes is the official Steam gift card, which you can win and use to get anything you want essentially for free!

In case you鈥檙e wondering, this is how it works:

Playbite makes money from (not super annoying) ads and (totally optional) in-app purchases. The app then uses that money to reward players like you with prizes!

Download Playbite for free, available on the App Store and Play Store!
