Getting sturdy fossils in Terraria is all about going underground. You'll wanna head to the Antlion Den, located in the underground desert biome. Once there, start smashing the fossil blocks with a pickaxe or a stronger tool. Remember, you need at least a Deathbringer Pickaxe or a Nightmare Pickaxe to do the job. Smash those blocks, and sturdy fossils will be yours!

Farming sturdy fossils took me a BIT! But ye, def hit the underground desert. Nightmare or Deathbringer Pickaxe is your best friend here. Sometimes feels like digging for gold, but those fossils are worth the hustle for crafting.
