If you already own Super Mario 64, you can legally extract the ROM using a device called a ROM dumper. It’s a bit technical, but there's plenty of guides online to help you out.
Just buy a Nintendo 64 and the original game. Keeps it legit and you get the full retro experience. Plus, no worries about viruses!
Be careful! Those sites are filled with malware. Safer to stick with official sources.
Honestly, just get it on the Nintendo eShop or the newer consoles. It's worth supporting the developers. Old school is cool, but legal is cooler!
