Short answer: You can't get it for free on PC legally. If you love Mario, just get it for the official console.
If you're looking to play Super Mario Maker on PC, you might have to resort to using an emulator like CEMU. Just be aware that downloading ROMs is legally gray and can get your plumber suit in a knot!
