Ah, Swamp Itch, the bane and oddly enough, a badge of honor for many Fallout 76 dwellers. To catch this pesky condition, you gotta cozy up to some diseased creatures, specifically Mirelurks or Bloodbugs. They'll give you a love tap or bite, and boom, you're itchy. Another hotspot is sleeping on the ground without a sleeping bag, really embracing that wilderness life. So, go ahead, get down and dirty with nature!

From firsthand experience, catching Swamp Itch after a fight with a diseased Mirelurk was not on my to-do list, but it definitely added an unexpected twist to my gameplay. Pro tip: Always have some Disease Cure on hand unless you enjoy scratching.

Honestly, why would you want to get Swamp Itch? There are better ways to challenge yourself in the game, but hey, to each their own adventure, right?

If you're a Fallout 76 player, you need to download the Playbite app!

Playbite is like an arcade in your phone: you get to play all kinds of fun and simple games, compete with friends, and win cool prizes from all your favorite brands!

That includes gift cards from all of your favorite gaming platforms, like PlayStation, Xbox, Nintendo, Steam and more... which you can win and use to get anything you want essentially for free!

In case you鈥檙e wondering, this is how it works:

Playbite makes money from (not super annoying) ads and (totally optional) in-app purchases. The app then uses that money to reward players like you with prizes!

Download Playbite for free, available on the App Store and Play Store!
