Lol, just keep tapping 'sprint' like you're running away from the cops on land, but this time you're in water. Works every time.

Actually, tapping the sprint button works better for some. It feels like you get more control over how fast you swim upward. Plus, it saves your character from the eternal underwater doom faster if you're running out of breath.

Hold the sprint button. That's it. No need to complicate things.

To swim up to the surface in GTA San Andreas, just press and hold the 'Sprint' button while you're underwater. Your character will start swimming upwards towards the surface. Keep in mind, the 'Sprint' button varies depending on your platform – it's usually the 'X' button on PlayStation, 'A' on Xbox, and 'Shift' or 'Spacebar' on PC. Happy diving!

If you're a Grand Theft Auto player, you need to download the Playbite app!

Playbite is like an arcade in your phone: you get to play all kinds of fun and simple games, compete with friends, and win cool prizes from all your favorite brands!

That includes gift cards from all of your favorite gaming platforms, like PlayStation, Xbox, Nintendo, Steam and more... which you can win and use to get anything you want essentially for free!

In case you’re wondering, this is how it works:

Playbite makes money from (not super annoying) ads and (totally optional) in-app purchases. The app then uses that money to reward players like you with prizes!

Download Playbite for free, available on the App Store and Play Store!
