No direct way to get Nintendo Switch games on the Steam Deck since they're from different ecosystems. BUT, you might use emulators like Yuzu or Ryujinx (note, this is a legal gray area and depends on owning the games). Just make sure your Steam Deck is in Desktop Mode, download the emulator, and follow the setup guides specific to the emulator you choose. Remember, performance can vary based on the game and the Steam Deck's hardware.

Honestly, just enjoy the Steam Deck for what it is - a powerhouse for PC games. Trying to run Switch games on it kinda defeats the purpose, don't you think? Plus, legal issues with emulation... just not worth the hassle.

I've tried using an emulator for Switch games on my Steam Deck, and while it works for some titles, it's hit or miss. Make sure you're prepared for some tinkering and possibly inconsistent game performance.

If you're a Steam player, you need to download the Playbite app!

Playbite is like an arcade in your phone: you get to play all kinds of fun and simple games, compete with friends and others, and win cool prizes from all your favorite brands!

One of those prizes is the official Steam gift card, which you can win and use to get anything you want essentially for free!

In case you鈥檙e wondering, this is how it works:

Playbite makes money from (not super annoying) ads and (totally optional) in-app purchases. The app then uses that money to reward players like you with prizes!

Download Playbite for free, available on the App Store and Play Store!

The brands referenced on this page are not sponsors of the rewards or otherwise affiliated with this company.
