To snag yourself a Cobalt Shield in Terraria, you gotta dive into the Dungeon. Make sure you've defeated Skeletron so the Old Man at the Dungeon's entrance will let you in - no boss, no entry! Once you're in, start cracking open those Gold Chests. The Cobalt Shield is a rare drop from these chests, so you might have to search through quite a few. Good luck, and watch out for those Dungeon Guardians!

Actually, if you're just after the Cobalt Shield for its knockback immunity, there are other accessories and buffs that can help with that too. But yeah, for the shield, dungeon chests are your go-to.
