Simple! To get the Dryad to move in, you gotta prove yourself by defeating any of the bosses in Terraria - except for the King Slime and the Wall of Flesh. Once you've shown you're boss material, make sure you have a suitable house for her. It needs proper walls, furniture, light, and a door. Happy boss hunting!
Honestly, getting the Dryad is overrated. Just focus on building and exploring. The NPCs will come when they're ready.
