Follow the coastline and keep an eye out for the broken yacht. You'll need to dive down a bit to find the gun. It's worth the swim!
Head to the northwestern part of the map and look for a small island. The gun is on a sunken yacht just offshore. Bring some swimming gear!
Why bother with a gun? Craft a bow and arrows; it's quieter and just as effective. Plus, you can reuse the arrows!
