To get the Hero Weapons in Splatoon 2, you gotta complete the Octo Canyon single-player mode using each of the weapons. Make sure you finish every level with every weapon to unlock their multiplayer versions!

You need to clear Octo Canyon with every weapon. It takes time, but it's worth it!
Beat the main campaign, Octo Canyon, with all the different weapons given by Sheldon. Completing all levels with each weapon will earn you the Hero replicas for multiplayer.
Just play through Octo Canyon and finish every mission with each weapon. Easy peasy... kinda.
I did it by clearing every level in Octo Canyon with each weapon. It took forever, but it's the only way.
