I've found that completing quests from NPCs often leads you to the Infinity Stones. Check those out, they can be pretty rewarding!
Trade with villagers! Seriously, sometimes they have the stones or the maps to find them. Don't ignore those guys!
Fastest way? Just buy 'em. Open the in-game store and look for the stone bundles. It ain't cheap, but it's quick!
