To get the keyboard up on your Steam Deck, just press the Steam button plus the 'X' button at the same time. It's super easy and once you do it, you'll wonder how you ever forgot! This combo brings up the keyboard no matter where you are in the SteamOS.

Honestly, I never bother with the keyboard shortcuts. Just navigate through the menus- you'll find the keyboard option under the utilities. But that's just me, maybe I like taking the scenic route.
