Honestly, getting the Onyx Blaster doesn't seem worth the trouble. Why not focus on getting a Megashark instead? It's way better.

Just buy a shotgun from the Arms Dealer and gather the other materials: 10 Souls of Night, 2 Dark Shards. Then, craft it at a Mythril or Orichalcum Anvil. Easy peasy.

Ah, the Onyx Blaster, that beauty of a weapon! First things first, you need a Shotgun which you can easily buy from the Arms Dealer for 25 gold if you've got a Bullet or Bullet-firing gun in your inventory. Next up, gather 10 Souls of Night by defeating foes in the Underground Corruption or Crimson. Don't forget the Dark Shard! You'll need two of these, usually dropped by Dark Mummies in Corrupt or Crimson Deserts. Got everything? Craft it all together at a Mythril or Orichalcum Anvil, and bam! You're the proud owner of an Onyx Blaster.
