Just buy Hercules Beetle from Witch Doctor and combine with Necromantic Scroll at Tinkerer's Workshop. EZ.

Honestly, getting the Papyrus Scarab feels like a mini-adventure on its own. Beating Plantera, surviving the Pumpkin Moon, and making sure your Witch Doctor is in the right mood and place. Totally worth it for summoners, though!

Oh, the Papyrus Scarab? You're in for some fun! So, first up, you gotta get yourself a Pygmy Staff. This little guy drops from Plantera, so make sure you're ready for a hefty jungle brawl. Once you've got that, head over to the Witch Doctor at night when he's chilling in the jungle. He'll sell you the Hercules Beetle. After that, you just need to snag a Necromantic Scroll from the Mourning Wood during the Pumpkin Moon event. Combine those two bad boys at a Tinkerer's Workshop, and boom, Papyrus Scarab is yours! Happy summoning!
