How to get the Red Switch in Super Mario 64
To unlock the Red Switch, you gotta go to the Tower of the Wing Cap course. Look up at the sun from the castle's main hall to access it. Grab the Wing Cap and hit the switch on the central platform. Happy flying!

You need to look up at the sun in the castle's main hall. Enter the Wing Cap course and hit the red switch in the middle. Easy peasy.
In Super Mario 64, head to the main hall of the castle, look up at the sun, and voila! You'll be in the Tower of the Wing Cap. Just fly to the big red switch in the middle!
