To get the Steampunker in Terraria, all you gotta do is defeat any mechanical boss in the game. Could be The Destroyer, Skeletron Prime, or The Twins. Once you beat any one of them, the Steampunker will show up the next day, as long as you have a vacant house for her to move into. So make sure you've got that accommodation ready!

Honestly, everyone makes it sound so easy, but those mechanical bosses are tough! Focus on getting good weapons and armor first. It took me a few tries, but once you beat one, the Steampunker is yours. Worth it for that Clentaminator!
Quick tip: Just beat any mechanical boss and have an open house. Steampunker will move into your Terraria world the next day. EZ.
