The most reliable way to get V-Bucks in Fortnite is by purchasing them directly from the in-game store. You can also earn some V-Bucks by completing daily quests, missions and leveling up in Save the World mode if you have access to it.

Fortnite doesn't give out V-Bucks just for playing the game. You have to either buy them or earn them through the Save the World mode by doing missions and daily quests.

I鈥檝e been playing Fortnite for years, and sadly you can鈥檛 get V-Bucks just by playing the Battle Royale mode. Save the World mode has some missions that reward V-Bucks, but the best method is to buy them directly from the store.

Hot take: Just buy the V-Bucks. Grinding for V-Bucks in Save the World isn't worth the time if you鈥檙e only playing Battle Royale.

If you're a Fortnite player looking for extra v-bucks, you need to download the Playbite app!

Playbite is like an arcade in your phone: you get to play all kinds of fun and simple games, compete with friends and others, and win cool prizes from all your favorite brands!

One of those prizes is the official Fortnite gift card, which you can win and use to get v-bucks essentially for free!

In case you鈥檙e wondering, this is how it works:

Playbite makes money from (not super annoying) ads and (totally optional) in-app purchases. The app then uses that money to reward players like you with prizes!

Download Playbite for free, available on the App Store and Play Store!
