To snag a Water Bolt in Terraria, start by exploring the Dungeon. You're looking for a book with a blue cover and a distinct bolt-like band on its spine amongst the rows of books on the dungeon's shelves. You can actually snag it before facing Skeletron by not going too deep and risking the Guardian's wrath. Just be careful, and happy hunting!

Honestly, I've tried like a dozen times and the Dungeon Guardian always gets me before I can find it. I swear the Water Bolt is a myth to make us keep trying and failing!

Here's a tip that worked for me: If you find books but can't click to grab them, they're not what you're looking for. The Water Bolt books will let you pick them up when you click. Saved me a lot of time once I figured that out!

Easiest way? Just dart into the Dungeon and grab it from the shelves, no need to beat any bosses if you're quick and careful. But remember, it's a bit of a gamble.

If you're a Terraria player, you need to download the Playbite app!
