You can find Floating Island by looking for underwater clouds as you drive your Seamoth or Cyclops. Follow the clouds upwards to reach it.
Just go west from Lifepod 5! I took my Seamoth and found it pretty quickly after passing the Aurora. Happy exploring!
Honestly, look for the giant clouds in the distance. Swim or drive towards them, and you'll hit the Floating Island eventually.
Swim or use your Seamoth towards coordinates -620, 0, -967. Be prepared for some Reaper Leviathans near the Aurora, though!
