You can't actually land on Hephaestus in the game. It's one of those places you hear about but never visit. Bummer, I know.

To get to Hephaestus in 'The Outer Worlds', you need to progress through the main quest line until you get access to Phineas's Lab. Then you can use the navigation terminal on your ship to travel there!
