You'll need to head to the main hub in your current space station or city. There's usually a Research and Development lab in the central area. Look for signs or ask NPCs for directions.

In Starfield, Research and Development facilities can usually be found in major settlements or space stations. Just follow the in-game map markers!

Just wander around the main cities or space stations; Research and Development labs are typically highlighted on your map. It's hard to miss!

From my experience, the R&D labs are always in the main hubs. Just follow those map icons and you're golden!
