Getting to the Institute early in Fallout 4 isn't as straightforward as it might seem since you gotta follow the main questline. The quickest route is to power through the main quests. Start with 'Act 1', focus on completing 'Jewel of the Commonwealth', 'Unlikely Valentine', and 'Getting a Clue'. Then, speed through 'Reunions' to unlock 'Dangerous Minds', leading you straight to 'The Glowing Sea' quest. After that, 'Hunter/Hunted' will get you the Courser Chip, which you need to crack in 'The Molecular Level'. Once you've built the teleporter with the faction of your choice, bam, you're in the Institute. So yeah, gotta follow the process, but do it fast!

Just follow the main story, no shortcuts or tricks. The game makes you earn that visit to the Institute!

I rushed the main quests and got in pretty quickly. Skipping side quests and focusing on the main storyline is key.

If you're a Fallout 4 player, you need to download the Playbite app!

Playbite is like an arcade in your phone: you get to play all kinds of fun and simple games, compete with friends, and win cool prizes from all your favorite brands!

That includes gift cards from all of your favorite gaming platforms, like PlayStation, Xbox, Nintendo, Steam and more... which you can win and use to get anything you want essentially for free!

In case you鈥檙e wondering, this is how it works:

Playbite makes money from (not super annoying) ads and (totally optional) in-app purchases. The app then uses that money to reward players like you with prizes!

Download Playbite for free, available on the App Store and Play Store!
