Well, if you're not above a little creative tweaking, the easiest way to get unlimited resources in Fallout 4 is by using the console commands on PC. Just hit the tilde (~) key, type in a command like 'player.additem [item code] [amount]' and bam, you're loaded. Just be sure it doesn't sap all the fun outta the wasteland for ya!

If you're playing on console or prefer not to use cheats, your best bet for almost unlimited resources is to set up efficient supply lines between your settlements and invest in the Scrapper perk. This way, you're constantly getting a stream of materials from all the junk you and your settlers find. It's not exactly 'unlimited', but with some time, you'll have more than enough to build to your heart's content.
Just play the game, folks. Part of the fun is scavenging and managing your resources. Cheating takes away from the survival experience and the satisfaction of building up your settlements from scratch!
