You can get Warframe and weapon slots by spending Platinum. You either earn Platinum through trading with other players or buy it with real money. Alternatively, the Nightwave rewards sometimes include slots, so keep an eye out for them!
Nightwave seasons sometimes give slots as rewards. Reach those levels, and you'll snag some slots for free without spending any Platinum or cash.
When I needed more slots, I found that selling Prime parts from relics was the best way. Trade for Platinum and then grab the slots you need. Happy grinding!
