Oh, the quest for hydration! To snag yourself a water filter in Fallout 76, you've mainly got two options. First, you can craft them yourself, but you'll need the plans. You can find these plans randomly in the world or sometimes buy them from vendor bots. Once you've got the plans, you just need Bleach Dogwood (found around water in the Forest region) and Glowing Fungus, which is, well, pretty much everywhere. Voila, clean water awaits!

Actually, getting water filters is easy peasy. Just hunt around for the materials and make them yourself. It鈥檚 way more satisfying than buying, trust me. Plus, exploring for resources is half the fun of Fallout 76!
Crafting them is a waste of time. I always just stock up on Purified Water directly. Who even uses water filters anymore?
