Honestly, just keep SteamOS. It's optimized for the Deck, and you'll avoid a ton of hassle. Windows 10 might give you more versatility, but at what cost? Steam Deck shines with its original OS.

I put Windows 10 on my Deck, and it's been great for accessing games outside my Steam library. Just follow the steps for creating a bootable USB drive with the Windows ISO, and you鈥檙e golden. The installation process was straightforward. Worth it if you want the flexibility.

Getting Windows 10 on your Steam Deck is pretty simple but requires a bit of work. First, make sure you've got a USB drive with at least 8GB of space and download the Windows 10 ISO file from Microsoft's official site. Then, you'll need to create a bootable USB. Once that's done, plug it into your Steam Deck, boot from the USB, and follow the on-screen instructions to install Windows 10. Remember, back up any important data before you start, just in case!

If you're a Steam player, you need to download the Playbite app!

Playbite is like an arcade in your phone: you get to play all kinds of fun and simple games, compete with friends and others, and win cool prizes from all your favorite brands!

One of those prizes is the official Steam gift card, which you can win and use to get anything you want essentially for free!

In case you鈥檙e wondering, this is how it works:

Playbite makes money from (not super annoying) ads and (totally optional) in-app purchases. The app then uses that money to reward players like you with prizes!

Download Playbite for free, available on the App Store and Play Store!
