Getting wood in Animal Crossing is pretty straightforward but requires a bit of elbow grease. You'll need to get yourself an axe first. You can either buy one from the Nook's Cranny shop or craft one using materials you find around the island. Once you've got your axe, find a tree and start swinging! Just be careful not to chop too much or you'll end up chopping the whole tree down. Each tree can give you three pieces of wood a day.

Just smack trees with an axe! No need to overcomplicate things. Different trees give you different types of wood, so experiment!

Actually, shaking trees or hitting them with a stone axe is best. Keeps the trees healthy and standing for more wood in the future.

If you're an Animal Crossing player, you need to download the Playbite app!

Playbite is like an arcade in your phone: you get to play all kinds of fun and simple games, compete with friends and others, and win cool prizes from all your favorite brands!

One of those prizes is the official Nintendo eShop gift card, which you can win and use to get anything you want essentially for free!

In case you鈥檙e wondering, this is how it works:

Playbite makes money from (not super annoying) ads and (totally optional) in-app purchases. The app then uses that money to reward players like you with prizes!

Download Playbite for free, available on the App Store and Play Store!
