Getting wood in Fallout 76 is pretty easy! You can find wood piles scattered around the map, especially near buildings or in forested areas. Look for fallen logs or wooden crates, which are goldmines for wood. Also, don't forget to check the lumber mills; places like the Gilman lumber mill have tons of wood just waiting for you. Lastly, grab the Woodchucker perk; it lets you collect double the amount of wood every time!

Just hit trees with a hatchet. Seriously, Fallout 76 isn't a lumberjack sim. Focus on finding wood piles and logs, they're everywhere.

Pro tip: If you're in a pinch, scrap weapons and armor you don't need. They often yield wood among other materials. Not the most efficient way, but it's something if you're desperate.
