Unfortunately, Xbox Live support for the original Xbox ended in 2010. Your best bet now is emulators or private servers.

Sadly, you can't get Xbox Live for the original Xbox anymore since Microsoft discontinued it years ago.

Your only option for online play on the original Xbox is through unofficial methods like private servers, but it's not the same as Xbox Live.
