To snag Yankton plates in GTA 5, you gotta head into the story mode first. Complete the 'North Yankton Heist' mission (it's basically the prologue). After that, you can use a neat little glitch to bring cars with Yankton plates into Online mode. Just find a friend, get them to start a mission while you're in North Yankton, then head to the location where the car spawns. Remember, it might take a few tries and Rockstar might patch this out anytime, so hurry up!
Honestly, Yankton plates aren't worth the hassle. Just enjoy the game and forget about the vanity plates!
