Sadly, if you weren't previously connected to a cloud service, you're out of luck. There's no way to retrieve old data.
If you were connected to a cloud service (like Google Play or Game Center), just log back in and your progress should sync automatically!
From personal experience, I had to reinstall Helix Jump and all my data came back once I logged back into my Game Center account. Easy peasy!
