I've tried this, and it has to be real money, not V-Bucks. You go to the Battle Pass section, select 'Gift Battle Pass,' pick your friend's name, and pay with your card.
You can't directly gift a Battle Pass using V-Bucks, but you can gift it using real money through the in-game store. It's super easy鈥攋ust go to the Battle Pass tab, click on 'Gift Battle Pass,' and follow the prompts to select your friend and pay.
Just buy a gift card with V-Bucks equivalent and give your friend the code. They can use it to buy the Battle Pass.
