Actually, I gifted a game to my friend last week. After I chose 'Purchase as a gift,' I had to enter their email since they weren't on my friend list yet. Worked like a charm, and now we're battling zombies together every night.

Gifting on Steam is super easy! Just find the game you wanna gift in the Steam store, click the 'Add to Cart' button and choose 'Purchase as a gift.' Then you just pick your lucky friend from your friend list, add a personal message if you're feeling fancy, and voila! You've spread some digital joy.

Another thing, if you're planning to gift, keep an eye on the regional restrictions. Tried to gift a game to my cousin overseas and couldn't because of it. Always check the game鈥檚 Steam page for any region lock info!

Straight up, just make sure they don't already own the game. Nothing more awkward than gifting someone a game they've been playing for months. Happened to me, not cool.

If you're a Steam player, you need to download the Playbite app!

Playbite is like an arcade in your phone: you get to play all kinds of fun and simple games, compete with friends and others, and win cool prizes from all your favorite brands!

One of those prizes is the official Steam gift card, which you can win and use to get anything you want essentially for free!

In case you鈥檙e wondering, this is how it works:

Playbite makes money from (not super annoying) ads and (totally optional) in-app purchases. The app then uses that money to reward players like you with prizes!

Download Playbite for free, available on the App Store and Play Store!

The brands referenced on this page are not sponsors of the rewards or otherwise affiliated with this company.
