To gild modular items in Warframe, you need to level the item to rank 30, then visit the NPC who sold it to you (like Hok or Rude Zuud). They'll have an option to gild it for a cost in resources and standing. Easy peasy!

Gilding modular items in Warframe is simple: max out the item's level to 30, then head to the NPC who provided it. It costs you some resources and standing, but you'll get better stats and appearance options. Trust me, your Zaw or Kitgun will thank you.

Hit level 30, go talk to Hok or whoever sold you the item. Pay up, get it gilded. Done.

I've gilded a few Zaws myself. Just get them to level 30 and take them back to Hok in Cetus. You'll need some resources and standing, but it's worth it for the bonuses!
