Just trade with them and equip the weapon. But remember, they need ammo! And they somehow burn through it faster than you can say 'Mutant' so keep them stocked up.

Don't just give them any weapon. Think about their skills. Piper with a sniper rifle? 10/10. Trust me.

Super easy, mate! Just walk up to your trusty companion and initiate a dialogue. Look for the 'Trade' option, hit that, and voila! You can now move items to and from your companion's inventory. Just don't forget to actually equip them with the weapon - select the weapon from their inventory and press the button to equip (it varies by platform). Oh, and make sure they've got some ammo for it, or it's gonna be like giving a kid a toy without batteries.

If you're a Fallout 4 player, you need to download the Playbite app!

Playbite is like an arcade in your phone: you get to play all kinds of fun and simple games, compete with friends, and win cool prizes from all your favorite brands!

That includes gift cards from all of your favorite gaming platforms, like PlayStation, Xbox, Nintendo, Steam and more... which you can win and use to get anything you want essentially for free!

In case you鈥檙e wondering, this is how it works:

Playbite makes money from (not super annoying) ads and (totally optional) in-app purchases. The app then uses that money to reward players like you with prizes!

Download Playbite for free, available on the App Store and Play Store!
