TBH I never bothered giving mic access, I just use Discord with my buddies. Works way better without the hassle.

Just go to your device settings and allow mic access for Rec Room. Easy peasy.

Oh, the classic 'they can't hear me' moment! Alright, to let Rec Room use your mic, you gotta dive into your device's settings. If you're on PC, hit up the Control Panel, find 'Sound Settings,' and check if your mic is set as the default device. Sometimes, you might also need to give permission through the game itself or your platform's privacy settings. For PlayStation, Oculus, or mobile, scoot over to the system settings, find the privacy or permissions section, and make sure Rec Room has the green light to use your mic. Happy chatting!

If you're a Rec Room player, you need to download the Playbite app!

Playbite is like an arcade in your phone: you get to play all kinds of fun and simple games, compete with friends and others, and win cool prizes from all your favorite brands!

One of those prizes is the official Rec Room gift card, which you can win and use to get anything you want essentially for free!

In case you鈥檙e wondering, this is how it works:

Playbite makes money from (not super annoying) ads and (totally optional) in-app purchases. The app then uses that money to reward players like you with prizes!

Download Playbite for free, available on the App Store and Play Store!
