Just give them a weapon via the trade menu and don't forget the ammo! They've got infinite ammo, so one bullet is enough. Equip it!

Oh, handing over weapons to your settlers is super easy! Just walk up to any settler in one of your settlements, open the trade menu by talking to them, and then simply transfer the weapon you want to give them from your inventory to theirs. But remember, you also gotta give them some ammo for that weapon. Just one bullet will do for settlers鈥攖hey magically don't run out of it. Make sure you equip the weapon on them by selecting it in their inventory. Voila, now they're ready to defend your settlement!

Honestly, most settlers are fine with their default gear. Giving them weapons is just a waste of good ammo and resources.

If you're a Fallout 4 player, you need to download the Playbite app!

Playbite is like an arcade in your phone: you get to play all kinds of fun and simple games, compete with friends, and win cool prizes from all your favorite brands!

That includes gift cards from all of your favorite gaming platforms, like PlayStation, Xbox, Nintendo, Steam and more... which you can win and use to get anything you want essentially for free!

In case you鈥檙e wondering, this is how it works:

Playbite makes money from (not super annoying) ads and (totally optional) in-app purchases. The app then uses that money to reward players like you with prizes!

Download Playbite for free, available on the App Store and Play Store!
