I've played countless hours of Smash, and sadly, there's no way to give someone another life mid-game. Best bet? Get good at dodging!
You can't just hand over a life in Smash like it's a piece of pizza. Each player has their own stock count. However, you can team up and take turns as the 'life saver' by protecting each other during battles.
