To send Steam money to a friend, you can't directly transfer funds, but you can gift them a digital Steam Wallet code. Just buy a Steam gift card online or from a physical store, and send the code to your friend. They can redeem it by adding it to their Steam Wallet.

Get Steam gift cards by playing games on Playbite

Another slick way to give your buddy some Steam cash is through a Steam Digital Gift Card directly on the Steam platform. Head over to the Steam store, select the amount you wanna gift, choose your friend from your friend list, and boom! They get the gift in their Steam Wallet.

Gifting games directly on Steam is also cool. If you know exactly which game your friend has been eyeing, just buy it as a gift during checkout. Simple and personal!

I just PayPal my friends the money and tell them it's for games. It's way easier and they can spend it however they want.

If you're a Steam player, you need to download the Playbite app!

Playbite is like an arcade in your phone: you get to play all kinds of fun and simple games, compete with friends and others, and win cool prizes from all your favorite brands!

One of those prizes is the official Steam gift card, which you can win and use to get anything you want essentially for free!

In case you鈥檙e wondering, this is how it works:

Playbite makes money from (not super annoying) ads and (totally optional) in-app purchases. The app then uses that money to reward players like you with prizes!

Download Playbite for free, available on the App Store and Play Store!
