How to give the Angler fish in Terraria
You can't give the Angler 'fish' per se, but catching requested fish for quests is the way to go. It's all about those fishing quests, my dude.

Been there, done that! Caught a Clownfish when the Angler wanted one. Felt like a real hero. Just fish in the correct biome and time he asks for, and you'll snag what he needs in no time.
Oh man, looks like you might be a bit mixed up! In Terraria, you don't actually give the Angler fish, but you can catch different kinds of fish for the Angler NPC who gives you fishing quests. Just grab a fishing rod, head to the nearest body of water, and start fishing. Once you catch what the Angler wants, bring it back to him for some cool rewards!
