How to give yourself caps in Fallout 4
Sorry to break it, but you can't magically give yourself caps in Fallout 4 without diving into some cheeky methods. If you're on PC, you can use console commands. Simply hit the tilde (~) key, type 'player.additem 0000000f [amount]' where '[amount]' is how many caps you want, and hit enter. Console players, though, you'll need to get creative with in-game mechanics, like trading, looting, or using those Caps Stashes scattered around the Wasteland.

Honestly, just play the game! Exploring, completing quests, and looting will get you more caps than you know what to do with. It's more rewarding and keeps the experience legit. Who needs cheats when you've got skill?
Mods are your best friend for extra caps if you're not into console commands or can't use them. Plenty of mods out there can boost your cap stash without breaking a sweat. Just make sure you're picking the safe ones to keep your game running smoothly.
